Balatro

HEKKI BALLMO! Along with other indie games (such as Enter the Gungeon and Don't Starve), Balatro's Friends of Jimbo 3 Update added a 1000xRESIST customizable theme for the diamond suit face-cards. The characters featured include: Principal (The King), Iris (The Queen), and Watcher (The Jack). The update was released on 13 December 2024.

The pixel art on the cards was drawn by 1000xRESIST's art director, Kodai Yanagawa.

Mouthwashing

Pinki Li and Remy Siu (from sunset visitor 斜陽過客, 1000xRESIST's dev team) are featured in a crossover MinnMax Interview with Kai Moore and Johanna Kasurinen (from Wrong Organ, Mouthwashing's dev team). The interview video was published on 28 January 2025.

As two of the strongest narrative games from 2024, the developers talk about creating effective non-linear stories, their inspirations, and how they made the best out of their limited production capabilities.

Sunset Visitor occasionally collaborates with other game developers to conduct giveaways of each other's games, either 1000xRESIST, one of the other developer's games, or both.

• May 8, 2024: Just before the release day of 1000xRESIST, Barbara Wittmann of rose-engine (developers of SIGNALIS) gave away five copies of 1000xRESIST via Twitter. The giveaway concluded on May 9.
• June 21, 2024: Sunset Visitor gave away five copies of Times & Galaxy by Copychaser Games via Twitter. The giveaway concluded on June 22.
• July 9, 2024: Sunset Visitor collaborated with Polychroma Games (developers of Until Then) to give away five copies of each other's games via Twitter. The giveaway concluded on July 11.
