Old Town was constructed as an "Asiatown" entertainment center for the Pacific 50 generation ship. It was later inhabited by Iris-descent clones.
Shells lived in Old Town during ALLMOTHER's era. During Chapter 2, a shell off-handedly mentions that Old Town is "dirty" and wishes that she could have her own room, like the sisters that live upstairs. The player cannot go into Old Town as Watcher, so how Old Town looks prior to Chapter 6 is unknown.
During the Provisional Government era, Old Town was where all the Miscellaneous Shells were segregated into. Most Miscellaneous were not permitted to go up into The Orchard, but colored shells from above could come downstairs. As a Miscellaneous Shell, Blue resides at an apartment in Old Town.

- Old Town features signs that include badly-translated Chinese and Japanese. This is likely due to its construction as an Asiatown-themed entertainment center, and was not made as actual place for Asian people to live in.
- Some of the shop signs in Old Town reference COVID-19.
