Shapen Sisters
Secretrary, what is this?
Though Knower quotes "each shapen sister her domain" to Watcher when talking about their roles, the term "Shapen Sisters" is not actually used in-game to refer to the group of sisters that lead their function. However, to clearly and concisely distinguish between those "sisters", and "sisters" as a communal term for clones, the wiki has opted to adapt the term "Shapen Sisters" as their faction designation.

Society is divided into six functions, and each function is helmed by a Shapen Sister who leads all other shells devoted to that function.
There is no limit to how long a Shapen Sister can hold her position; however, a Sister typically graduates from her role when ALLMOTHER sends the train for them to cross over to the Other Side.
In polite or formal speech, shells refer to a Shapen Sister (except Principal) as "sister [color]". In a casual context – such as shells gossiping, or members of the Shapen Sisters talking to each other – Shapen Sisters are referred to by their function name.

Principal[edit | edit source]
Principal performs administrative work and acts as a leader to all the other Shapen Sisters. Unlike the other five functions, there are no Principal-type shells. Principal is also the only one who does not appear in the ALLMOTHER's poem.
Principal is represented by the color red.
Watcher[edit | edit source]
Watchers monitor not only the daily on-goings of life in The Orchard, but they also hold the sacred duty of performing communions and directly witnessing the memories of the ALLMOTHER.
Watchers are represented by the color blue.
Fixer[edit | edit source]
Fixers maintain various systems and repairs across The Orchard. They have access to many back-end areas normally inaccessible to other shells, as demonstrated when Fixer showed Watcher the top of the inside sky.
Fixers are represented by the color green.
Knower[edit | edit source]
Knowers tend to the library, archiving the history of the world and ALLMOTHER's teachings, as well as being a scholarly resource on various topics.
Knowers are represented by the color purple.
Healer[edit | edit source]
Healers take care of general health and wellness of the sisters. They also oversee the cloning chambers, and are responsible for assigning a color-function to each newborn shell.
Healers are represented by the color pink
Bang Bang Fire[edit | edit source]
Bang Bang Fires are the security force that protects The Orchard from Occupant attacks, monitoring for Occupant activity via radar and infrared scans, and conducting training drills.
Bang Bang Fires are represented by the color orange.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- It is unknown why the Fixer is colored white and Knower colored green in the Hekki ALLMO slideshow. We tried asking the developer Remy Siu – the reply we got was "no comment on this one 🙂", so it remains an unresolved mystery.[1]
