The Pacific 50 generation ship has at least 2 train-lines, which were presumably used by The 50 to travel between different parts of the ship. When not in use, the train tracks form a closed loop, which only open when a destination is set.

During the ALLMOTHER's time, Sisters travelled to the Other Side via the train, when they were allegedly called for by the ALLMOTHER. In actuality however, it is Principal who calls the trains to send clones she considers "perfect" to the Other Side. In the era of the Provisional Government, the train was mostly used by the few Jiao-types who commuted from the Other Side where they resided, to the Orchard for work.

Exiled Sisters[edit | edit source]

SECRETARY: Sisters that were never your own. Follow the dreams of the surface and whatever may wait for you there… Or spend your final days with what you already have. (ch. X)

One of the trains was also used as a headquarters for the exiled Shapen SistersFixer, BBF, Healer, and later Watcher. Fixer had managed to configure the train to indefinitely travel in a loop, as the exiled Sisters were on the run from the Red Guard. After running non-stop for several years however, this train breaks down during Chapter 8. As Watcher dies and Fixer is unable to repair the train, she sets the train ablaze, ending its journey.

Each Sister resided in a different carriage of the train. The known carriages, from front to back were: storage, Fixer, empty, empty, Healer, BBF, empty, empty, Watcher.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Though Healer has her own room/medbay, she sleeps on a mattress on the train seats in Watcher's room, keeping watch over the comatose Watcher. BBF apparently sleeps too soundly to notice if anything's gone wrong, and Fixer has been keeping her distance due to their fractured relationship.
  • Trains are commonly used as symbolism for being stuck in a cycle.
